Who we are
I'm Andrew, and Bartlett Synthetics is Bartlett, Illinois' only local independent AMSOIL dealer.
I got into AMSOIL the way most people do, by getting tired of watching engines wear out sooner than they should. Between my daily driver and the project car I'm always tinkering with, I've run enough oil changes to know the difference between a product that just checks a box and one that actually protects what you've built. Once I started running AMSOIL across both vehicles, I stopped worrying about oil. That's not a small thing when one of them is a daily driver I depend on and the other is a project I've put real time into.
That's really what this business is about: I'm not selling you something I wouldn't put in my own garage.
Outside of running Bartlett Synthetics, you'll find me at local car club meets and shows around the area, usually with a camera in hand, photography's been a hobby of mine for years, and there's nothing better than combining it with a genuine love for cars. I also help organize and sponsor local charity drives, because a car community that only talks about horsepower is missing the point. It's about the people as much as the vehicles.
If you're the kind of person who actually cares what's protecting your engine, whether that's a daily commuter, a weekend project, powersports equipment, or anything in between, I'd love to help you figure out what AMSOIL products make sense for your setup. No pressure, no upsell. Just someone local who's used this stuff long enough to know it works.

Who is AMSOIL
AMSOIL started making synthetic oil back in 1972. They were the first company to get a synthetic approved to API standards, and they've stayed ahead of the big oil companies on drain intervals and film strength ever since. That's the actual reason I switched my own vehicles over back in 1999 and have been an AMSOIL customer since then.
Longer drain intervals mean fewer oil changes. Better film strength means less wear on the parts that cost real money to replace down the road. For a daily driver, a weekend project, or equipment that runs all summer, that adds up.
I'm not trying to out-market Mobil 1 or Royal Purple. I just try to answer questions honestly and point people toward what actually makes sense for their vehicle. No upsell, no pricing games. Just someone local who's used this stuff long enough to trust it.
